As part of the RELSUDE project, Concordis researched conflict dynamics and community perceptions in the Central African Republic. The aim of the project was to inform consortium partners and anchor them in the diverse realities of 11 targeted cities in the southeast of the country.
The town of Kembe experienced inter-communal conflicts and an erosion of state authority. Despite some return of state institutions, there is significant room for improvement. The locals cite the lack of peace and stability and low economic and educational opportunity as significant issues.
