Signing-up for email updates
When you sign-up to receive email updates from us, you are asked to provide your name and email address. This personal data is shared with a third-party company based outside the EU called MailChimp (owned by The Rocket Science Group LLC), whose system we use to send emails to our subscribers. Any data you provide is stored on secure servers by MailChimp.
MailChimp is compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which means they are certified to receive data from Concordis. Donating to us
When you donate to Concordis, you’re asked to provide your name, address, email address, phone number and payment details. This personal data is stored securely on our database, which is password protected and only accessible by senior staff based in the UK.
When you sign a Gift Aid declaration form, this authorises Concordis to share your name, address and the amount donated with HMRC, to enable us to reclaim the tax paid on your donation.
Cookies and Google Analytics
To improve your experience on our site, we may use ‘cookies’. A cookie is a small text file that our site may place on your computer as a tool to remember your preferences.
