Junior Ovandja
Programme Intern
Junior Ovandja is a bilingual (French-English) emerging consultant in international relations, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. He holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation, Humanitarian Action, and Sustainable Development from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon.
Junior has served as Political and Communications Support at the British High Commission in Yaoundé, where he monitored political and economic developments across Cameroon, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea, and supported the planning of high-level diplomatic engagements. He also worked with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, contributing to field missions and the organisation of the 1st National Women’s Convention for Peace in Cameroon.
His ambition is to foster inclusive governance, strengthen local capacities, and promote collaborative approaches to conflict transformation. He is particularly committed to building bridges between institutions, communities, and peace actors.
