Programme Officer - Am Timan

Carelle Yankinguem is currently a program officer at Concordis International in Chad. A sociologist by training, she has solid humanitarian experience covering several essential themes: gender, protection against gender-based violence (GBV), child protection, communication, advocacy, accountability to affected populations, as well as the empowerment and resilience of women and children.

Throughout her career, Carelle has worked in several complex and sensitive areas of Chad, including Bagasola (Lake Chad), Adré, Hadjar Hadid, Farchana, and Borota in the Ouaddaï region, as well as Iriba and Guéréda in the Wadi Fira region. There, she participated in the implementation of humanitarian projects in crisis situations, demonstrating a strong capacity for adaptation and a steadfast commitment to the affected populations.

She notably managed emergency projects in Borota, on the Sudanese border, and the emergency flood relief project in Koundoul.

Her experience has been strengthened through work with international organizations such as the IRC, Oxfam, and Concordis, and through numerous training programs in project management, monitoring and evaluation, mental health and psychosocial support, protection against gender-based violence, and conflict management.

Organized, dynamic, and meticulous, Carelle is distinguished by her initiative and excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with teams and local stakeholders.
