RELSUDE Project Report: Conflict Analysis in Zemio

As part of the RELSUDE project, Concordis researched conflict dynamics and community perceptions in the Central African Republic. The aim of the project was to inform consortium partners and anchor them in the diverse realities of 11 targeted cities in the southeast of the country.

The report focuses on the events that occurred in Zemio since the crisis in 2013 and the following degradation in relations between Muslim and Christian communities. The report analyzes the impact of conflict on local social and economic structures and reiterates the urgent need for peaceful conflict settlement in the area.
