Seid Gna-Guele

Seid is a specialist in fragility, conflict, and resilience with extensive experience in conflict prevention and peacebuilding across West and Central Africa. He holds a PhD in International Public Law, with a focus on human security and peacebuilding in Central Africa.

He has more than 10 years of professional experience, including senior positions with the World Bank Group in the Sahel region and the African Development Bank in West Africa. He has also conducted work for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) as a Civil Affairs Officer and as a Human Rights Officer in the north of Mali.

Seid has contributed to interfaith dialogue project addressing violent extremism in Africa and Europe in partnership with the African Union and GIZ and served as Peacebuilding Expert with the NGO Sauvons le Lac Tchad, supporting ecosystem restoration and resilience initiatives in the Lake Chad Basin, Legal Officer with NGO Lawyer without borders Canada (Benin and Burkina-faso) and Consultant with Consortium of NGO Gore Institute, Diakonia, FAD EquiPop on For Feminist Agendas for Peace and Security project in West and Central Africa.
