A Pathway for Peace in Ngaoundaye
In July 2025, our team supported the Ngaoundaye Peace Conference — a gathering that brought together farmers, herders, local authorities, women, youth, and civil society to address rising tensions in the region during the seasonal migration cycle. These discussions, involving communities from the Central African Republic, Chad and Cameroon, helped set shared expectations for peaceful movement of livestock through farming areas.

Vaccination of livestock as a catalyst for peacebuilding in the Central African Republic
Concordis is currently undertaking a comprehensive vaccination program for livestock in the Bamingui-Bangoran region, Central African Republic, whose goal is beyond the good health of the animals. This initiative, possible through collaboration with partner organizations and the population, aims to contribute to a more favourable reception of transhumant herders during seasonal movement, ultimately reducing regional tensions.
