Moussa Altiné Amadou

Regional Head of MEAL

Altine Amadou Moussa is a seasoned MEAL and program performance expert with over 14 years of experience across humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding sectors in West and Central Africa. He has led large-scale, multi-donor programs, including co-directing a $40M USAID-funded peacebuilding initiative in Eastern DRC, where he oversaw MEAL systems across 11 partners and 27 local sub-grantees.

Moussa brings deep expertise in adaptive learning, conflict analysis, and impact evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative methods. He has reported to major donors including USAID, UN agencies, and the EU, delivering bilingual reports and strategic insights in French and English. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration and capacity building, having facilitated over 30 training sessions and numerous CLA workshops. Altine has also held key roles with Mercy Corps, Humanity & Inclusion, and VSF Belgium, and holds a Master’s degree in Development Engineering.

Moussa is married and the father of three children; he enjoys traveling, playing chess, and watching basketball and football.
