Mahamadou Bello Amadou
Hub Manager- Goré
Mahamadou has about seventeen years of experience working in different fields of development such as Community Stabilization and Peacebuilding, Countering Violent Extremism, conflicts management, Immigration and Border Governance, projects development, etc. This has enabled him to discover the real challenges of life, especially those of the development and humanitarian in an unequal and complex multicultural context.
He holds a Master’s in Development Policies and Practices at the Graduate Institute of International Development Studies of Geneva (IHEID), and, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Nigeria.
He is fluent in English, French, Fulfulde/Pular, Hausa, Zarma and basically in Arabic.
Mahamadou has served as Permanent Secretary with a national network for nonviolent conflicts management (Réseau GENOVICO), as Program Officer of CBM International, Program Officer at NDI, Senior Program Assistant, Regional Field Officer & Program Manager / Head of Sub-Office at IOM in Niger and DR. Congo; Volunteer in translation and interpretation at the Humanitarian Hub Center of the Belgium Red Cross in Brussels and recently Humanitarian Affairs Officer /Chief of Base at UNOCHA Niger.
