Gabriela Ramirez Rivas
Programme Intern
Gabriela is a researcher specialising in project management, academic research and international development. With a Master’s degree in Governance, Development, and Public Policy from the Institute of Development Studies, she has led key research initiatives and contributed to high-impact reports across various sectors. With two years of experience in monitoring and policy, combined with two more years in research and project management, Gabriela has collaborated with organisations such as UN Women, UNICEF, and the World Food Programme, addressing critical issues including non-state governance actors, gender-based violence and displacement economies.
Her expertise lies in qualitative research and policy analysis, with a particular interest in the intersections of gender and conflict, exploring how gender roles, identities and inequalities both shape and are shaped by conflict. Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, she is deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion and has worked in a wide range of cultural contexts.
Gabriela is eager to gain practical experience in peacebuilding as she pursues a career in the humanitarian sector, and she is excited to learn and grow through this opportunity at Concordis.
