Charlie Turner
Programme Intern
Charlie recently completed his undergraduate degree in Arabic and Spanish from Durham University. He is passionate for community-led initiatives, and spent time co-running Durham's Amnesty International Society and volunteering with local refugee families, which helped him improve his approach to conflict-affected communities.
During his degree, and particularly his time in Jordan, he developed Arabic skills and a deeper understanding of the MENA region. Next year, he will undertake a Master's degree in international development, with aspirations for a future career in the sector.
