Benedict is the Peacebuilding Country Manager for CAR. A peacebuilder by heart, he has occupied senior positions in peacebuilding including as coordinator of the UN Peacebuilding Fund and of the UN Joint Programme for Youth Resilience in CAR, as Peace and Conflict Advisor for World Vision International and with Relational Peacebuilding Initiatives in Geneva, as project manager for Dominicans for Justice and Peace and as Executive Director for Mediators Network for Sustainable Peace in the Philippines. He also worked in the humanitarian field as Regional Manager for the eastern DRC and as Programmes Director in CAR. Benedict studied Philosophy, Theology and Anthropology and is a Knowledge Management (KM) enthusiast.
