Three meetings of the Traditional Leaders

These Leaders came from various Dinka Ngok groups and Misseriya groups. The traditional leaders on both sides are under tremendous pressure to take a hard line on very political issues around land and the final determination of the international border. The Concordis team was able to work quietly with them behind the scenes, enabling them to find agreement on issues that were important to their communities. These included the peaceful movement of livestock and peaceful functioning of Abyei Market, all to mutual economic benefit.
